Biography

George Besgrove was baptised in East Lambrook, Somerset, England, on 5 Oct 1862.[1]. He is the son of Job Besgrove and Anna Male.

In the 1871 census George was enumerated in the household of his father, Job Besgrove.[2]

George was a passenger on the Carnatic, departing Plymouth, England. Arriving in Townsville, Queensland in Sep 1880.[3][4] George died on 17 November 1943 and was buried in Holland Park West, Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia.[5] [6] [7]
