Biography

Elizabeth "Betsy" Best was born about 1790 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.[1]

11 August 1817, John Linebarger executed a Lincoln County marriage bond naming his intended bride as Betsy Best. His bondsman was John Rhyne. The bond was issued and witnessed by Clerk of County Court Danl M Forney.[2]

Gaston County, North Carolina was created 1846 from Lincoln County."[3]
