Biography
In 1804 Thomas married the Rt. Hon. Lady Emily Stratford from whom he had two children: John Stratford Best and Georgina Louisa. The couple were subsequently divorced about 1809. Thomas was a skilled marksman and is notorious for fighting a duel with Lord Camelford who died from his wound.
