Monna was born in 1918. She is the daughter of Maurice Best and Winifred Kelly.
She married Felix Bammann on 22 February 1941 at St Augustine's church, Unley, South Australia.
Roseworthy Bride
AT St. Augustine's Church, Unley, the Rev. Frank Weston will officiate tonight at the marriage of Miss Monna Gwen Best, youngest daughter of Mr. M. G. Best, and Mr. Felix Bammann, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Bommann, all of Roseworthy.
A dress of georgette. with a shirred bodice, will be worn by the bride, who will be given away by her father. Her tulle veil is edged with Chantilly lace and has a topknot of white flowers. and she will carry a bouquet of mixed white flowers.
Miss Dorothy Best, her cousin, will be bridesmaid. wearing a dress of blue spotted net. Her headdress is a halo of flowers attached to a shoulder-length tulle veil, and she will carry a Victorian posy of mixed flowers.
Mr. M. Anders will be best man.
Fifty guests have been invited to a reception at the Oriental Hotel after the ceremony.
The step-mother of the bride will be gowned in black sheer, with a posy of pink flowers, and the bridegroom's mother has a black ensemble, with a posy of red roses.
With her Hawaiian blue travelling ensemble the bride will wear a matching hat and navy accessories.
