Judith Beswick was baptised 21st May, 1820, at All Saints, Bolton Le Moors, Lancashire, the daughter of Henry Beswick and his wife, Mary. [1]
On 28th February, 1842, she married Lewis Holland in the Parish Church in Bolton Le Moors. Both were of full age and single. Lewis, a Mason, of Shaw street, was the son of Lewis Holland, a Weaver. Judith lived Pilkington Street at the time of her marriage, her father, Henry, also a Weaver. The Establish Church ceremony was performed by J. Slade, Vicar, before witnesses Henry Beswick and James Liptrot, the latter witnessing many other marriages. All members of the bridal party signed. [2][3]
