Biography

George Selby Betts in 1909 was the eighth child born to George Betts and Mary Agatha Ridley, his birthplace was Nanango Qld. Aus. His occupations revealed on electoral rolls were- jockey and horse trainer. He served in World War II as a private his service number was Q147580.

I have not found any children born to George Selby Betts and I am not sure that he married.

On 1968 to 1972 electoral roll there was living with him, one named Iona Margaret Betts, who could be a wife ? They lived in Brisbane.

He died in Karingal Nursing Home at Dalby, Qld. and he was buried at Drayton & Toowoomba Cemetery Qld
