Biography

Mary "Jane" Betts was born on September 30, 1870, in Doaktown, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, David, was 37, and her mother, Mary, was 31. She married Robert Lucas in New Brunswick, Canada. They had eight children in 21 years. She died on 30 JUNE 1952, [1]in her hometown at the age of 52, and was buried there.[2]
