Obituary JONAH, JUANITA IDELLA (BETTS) The death of Juanita Idella (Betts) Jonah of Doaktown, wife of Kenneth Jonah occurred on Monday, February 03, 2003 at her daughters home in Newcastle, NB. Born in Doaktown, NB she was a daughter of the late Perley and Edna (Gilks) Betts. Mrs. Jonah was a member of the Doaktown United Baptist church, past choir director, a member of the Women's Missionary Society, and was active in all church activities. She was a member of the Miramichi Salmon Museum and the Miramichi Friendship Club. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Bonita Ellis and Linda Waye (Morrissey) all of Newcastle, NB; two sons, William Kamermans (Marie) of Dartmouth, NS and Gary Kamermans (Helen) of Bathurst, NB; two step-daughters, Willa McLean (Ian) of Fredericton and Paula Jonah of Campbellton; one step-son, Kenneth A. Jonah (Joann) of Dipper Harbour, NB; 15 grandchildren, 4 stepgrandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; four sisters, Joyce Davis of Barrie, On., Betty Richardson (Fred) of Boca Raton, Florida, Phyllis Betts of Fredericton and Georgina Young of Toronto, On and one brother, Tunney Betts (Georgie) of Cape Breton, NS; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur Kamermans; one sister, Ina Morley and one brother, Perley.
