I'm here to sort out my family history for my children. There are informal adoptions, lost papers, burnt records, etc to contend with, so it's tough. In the long run, I hope that all my research helps others, helps me contact relatives yet to be discovered, and gives my children a sense of their history and where they come from. I hope to receive and send lots of emails, and I hope to learn a lot in the process!
