Biography

Dorothy was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on January 11, 1914. In the early 1920's, she came with her family to Pasadena, California, which was where her parent's built their house. She was the youngest of four children

Dorothy Sarah (Betz) Gentry is my maternal grandmother. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 10 Jan 1914. She had three older brothers, Raymond S. Betz, Leslie T. Betz, and

LeRoy J. Betz. They moved to Pasadena, California, where her parents built their house, on Rio Grande St., in 1923. The house stayed in the family until 1993. Three generations grew up in that house, and it is still standing!!
