Biography
George Betz was born on November 24, 1811, in Nerenstetten, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, his father, Silvester, was 31 and his mother, Elisabetha, was 24. He had six sons and five daughters with Waldburga Barbara Okerlander between 1842 and 1861. He died on June 28, 1876, at the age of 64.
