Samuel Bevan was born 1850 in London, England.[1] He was the son of Thomas Bevan and Louisa Derrick.
Samuel, 6, came to Victoria with his parents and siblings on the Oliver Lang in 1856.[2]
He married Ann Watson in 1873 in Victoria, Australia.[3] Their son was:[citation needed]
Samuel passed away at Camberwell in 1908.[4]
