Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1795 to David and Margaret Beveridge (nee Thomson).

James Adamson and Elizabeth were married in 1819 in Dunfermline, Scotland. His occupation was listed as a Wright (skilled woodworker) from Crossgates (a village outside Dunfermline). She was listed as being the daughter of David Beveradge, a Baker in Dunfermline.

They had 7 children:

Elizabeth, her husband, James and their children, Adam, David Beveridge, John Beveridge, James Hazel, Margaret Thomson, Magdalene and Elizabeth Beveridge set sail from London on 19 May 1839, aboard the ship, "Recovery" and arrived in Port Adelaide on 19 Sep 1839.

She passed away in Adelaide, South Australia in 1870, at the age of 74.
