Plano, Collin Co., Tex., Dec. 26 - The remains of young S. T. Beverly, who was shot by Sheriff Moore of Foard county last Saturday night and died of his wounds, arrived here last night. Deceased was born and raised here and had a host of friends, who deeply regret his untimely death.[1]

J. W. Beverly of Crowell, Foard county, paid The News a visit. He is a brother of Constable A. Y. Beverly who was killed at Crowell on the 23d instant and whose remains were interred yesterday at Plano.[2]
