John married Mary Jane Elliott in 1849 in Devon. [2]
In 1861, John was living in Holy Trinity, Yorkshire (East Riding) with his wife, Mary Jane, and his daughter, Elizabeth. He was noted on that year's census as having the occupation of Master Mariner. [3]
John passed away January 15, 1903 in Plaistow, Westham, England, United Kingdom.
