Her Half Siblings from her fathers 1st marriage to Martha Ann Davis were:
Together they would have 8 children.
Martha would spend her years as a housewife.
In 1880 she was living with her parents in Jefferson, Polk, Missouri. In the home were William, Elizabeth, Nancy, William, Jesse, Florence, Thomas, Martha, Isaac, Joseph, Katie.
By 1900 she has married Henry and they have moved to Liberty, Elk, Kansas. She confirms that her father came from Kentucky and her mother in Missouri and that she had 5 children of which all were still living, this however may be incorrect as we have Vina who supposedly was born and died in 1888 and is accounted for in the 1910 census. She could read and write, and in the home were Henry 35, Martha 28, Ora 10, Howard 8, Beth 6, Clarence 3 and Joseph 1. Henry was a farmer, and they owned their own farm, however had a mortgage.
In 1910 they were in Fall River, Wilson, Kansas. they confirmed she had 8 children of which 7 were still living, which accounts for Vina. IN the home are Henry 40, Martha 38, Ora 20, Howard 18, Beth 16, Clarence 13, Joseph 10, Bonnie 5 and Pauline 2. Henry was a farmer and they continued to own their own farm, but still had a mortgage. Ora and Howard were Telegraph operators for the railroad and Beth was a music teacher.
In 1920 They are living in Fall River, Wilson County, Kansas. In the home are Henry 55, Martha 48, Joseph 20, Bonnie 15 and Pauline 12. Their home is now mortgage free and Henry continues to work the family farm.
In 1925 She 53 and Henry 60 are living in Fredonia, Wilson. Only Pauline 17remains at home.
In 1930. They have moved to Pleasant Valley, Labette, Kansas. In the home are only herself 58and Henry 68 now. They owned their own home, but did not have a radio set.
Her last home would be at 801 Clark Street in Cherryvale, Montgomery, Kansas. She would be a member of that community for 5 years before her death.
At the age of 68 years, 11 months and 12 days, Martha died due to Anemia and Juandice on the 7 July1940 in Cherryvale, Montgomery County, Kansas.
