Biography

From Bergelt Family Tree. Christian Beyer was a tax collector in Steinbach. "The church records of Steinbach report that he first married Anna Elizabeth Nestler by whom he fathered 13 children; 6 sons and 7 daughters. After her death he married for the second time Johanna Beata Brauer from Grumbach by whom he had 17 children; 8 sons and 9 daughters. He died of a tumor at age 61."
