Biography

Abraham Beyer was born on 16 August 1690 in Nieder Harpersdorf, Silesia. He was the son of Melchior Beyer and Eva (?). Abraham Beyer was also known as Beer. Abraham was part of the 5th wave of Schwenkfelder Pennsylvania "Dutch" migration see also: https://schwenkfelderexilesociety.org/immigrants/the-fifth-migration/ Schwenkfelder Exile Society

Abraham married Rosina Yeakel, daughter of Hans Jäckel and Maria (?). Abraham Beyer and Rosina Beyer immigrated on 19 October 1736 to Pennsylvania on the Perth Amboy which left from Rotterdam, and then Dover. They were accompanied by their children Anna Rosina, Anna Maria, Abraham, Andrew, George and Susanna Beyer.

Abraham Beyer and Rosina lived in Worcester Township, Philadelphia County,, now Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.1 Abraham Beyer died on 30 October 1754 at age 64 years, 2 months and 14 days.1 He was buried in Methacton Mennonite Meeting house Cemetery in Methacton, Worcester Township,, Philadelphia County, now Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
