Neerja Bhanot is Notable.
Daughter of Rama Bhanot and Harish Bhanot.
Bhanot had an arranged marriage in March 1985 and joined her husband in Doha, Qatar. However, the marriage soon deteriorated following alleged dowry pressure. She returned to her parents' home in Mumbai within two months.
Saved all the passengers on a hijacked plane, Pan Am Flight 73, and died guiding 3 children, who had been hiding, to safety.
