Biography

Martin Bibb was born in September 1759. He is the son of Thomas Bibb and Sarah Martin.[1]

Martin married Sarah Gatewood on December 5, 1792. She lived only a short time after marriage and "it is evident" that she was not the mother of any children.[1]

Martin married Nancy Cash, as his second wife, on September 23, 1795, in Amherst County, Virginia.[2]

In 1820 Martin (age about 61) was living in Amherst, Virginia, USA.

Martin died at age 63, leaving a large family and very little for its support.[1]
