All available evidence indicates Aquilla Bickerton lived all his life in Maryland. Court records for Ann Arundel County in 1752 show he was named as next of kin in the inventory for John Bickerton. The will of John Bickerton was probated in 1757 Charles County, Maryland[1]
28 Mar--6 May 1757 the will of Francis Gray was witnessed by Aquila Bickerton, Humphrey Posey, and John Elgin.[2]
