Biography

"Clement Cornell Biddle was Captain of the State Fencibles and Colonel of the First Regiment Vols., Light Infantry, of Pennsylvania, during the war of 1812. He was also President of the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society, and President of the Franklin Insurance Company of Philadelphia."[1]
