Biography

Edward was born 15 Apr 1860 in Nelson, NZ to Edward and Mary Ann Biddle. He was baptised in 1860 at St John's Church in Wakefield, Nelson. He was registered under the name of Edward Gay and was often incorrectly referred to as Edward senior. [1]

He married Frances Elizabeth Knowles on 15 Sep 1893 at Dalefield in Carterton, NZ. [1]

Edward passed away in 15 Sep 1919 in Carterton, NZ and is buried at Greytown Cemetery. [1]
