Biography

Morris was born in 1859. He was the son of Sylvester Bieber and Tivillia Klein. He passed away in 1926.

This for anyone doing research on the Lehigh County, Pennsylvania Bieber family. The following article appeared in the Morning Call newspaper of 6 Oct 1981: "A reunion took place last weekend at the Bieber House, the dwelling in Allentown's Lehigh Parkway being converted into an Indian Museum. More than 50 members of the Bieber family arrived from as far away as California to see the restoration work being done to the 132-year-old building,

Russel L. Bieber of Allentown R.3 presented an 1875 Bieber family Bible to Carla Messinger, who is heading the Lenni Lenape Historical Society's project. She said the Bible will be put on display in the house. Ms. Messinger noted that the house would have been lost to the Bieber family as well as the Lehigh Valley without the society's efforts. She invited the public to bring a picnic lunch 12:20-2 p.m. Sunday in memory of the Lenni Lenape traditional Thanksgiving held 12 days in October."
