Born MAY 1814

Died 20 OCT 1853. Geurnsey, St. Peter Port

Buried 22 OCT 1853. Guernsey, St Peter Port, Town Church.

Occupation: Clerk, Sailor.

Note: Clerk in Bailliffs office, Advocates office, and Greffe.

Marriage: Martin Bienvenu son of Pierre and Marguerite Cochrane daughter of Jean were married 29 August 1839 ( Town Church page 39 ).


Marriage: Martin Bienvenu widower son of Pierre, aged 37, of this Parish and Mary Morel widow of Henry Boyd, aged 36, of St Laurence Jersey were married 28 September 1851 ( Town Church page 184 ).


Death: 25 Oct 1853, Martin Bienvenu, parents Pierre Bienvenu and Elizabeth Lynton Martin, aged 39, of Bouet, Commis du Baillif( Bailiff's clerk), Maladie interieure ( Greffe 57/2158 ).


Burial: Martin son of Peter Bienvenu. and Elizabeth Lynton Martin his wife, died 20 Oct 1853 and buried 22 Oct 1853, born Guernsey, aged 39 year 4 months ,. ref: B117 Z see 1925 ( Candie 2757/2647).

ref 99-157. Martin also was a sailor who sailed around the world in a cargo vessel calling in at Auckland, NZ, on the 14th Jan 1860 and leaving on 14th March 1860 having come from Three Kings Island and sailed for Hong Kong.
