Biography

Volga German
Elisabeth (Bierman) Aab is a Volga German.
Elisabeth (Bierman) Aab has German Roots.

Family #141 in the 1775 Grimm census.
Family #96 in the 1798 Grimm census.
Family #31 in the 1834 Grimm census.

1775 Grimm Census [1]

Family # 141
Head of the Household Philip Bierman, age 46
Wife Anna Elizabeta [sic] Bierman, age 48
Child #1 Elizabeta [sic] Bierman, age 5 years 6 months
Child #2 Gertrude Bierman Zulauf, age 19
Husband of Child #2 Johann Zulauf, age 25
Grandchild #1 Katarina [sic] Zulauf, age 6 months

By 1798 Elisabeth was married to Gerlach Aab and the couple had four young children. All were living with her parents in Grimm. Gerlach Aab's family lived next to the Biermans, so he wasn't far from his own parents and siblings.

1798 Grimm Census [2]

Family # 96
Head of the Household Philipp Bierman, age 69
Wife Elizabeta [sic] Brungard Bierman, age 72
Child #1 Elizabeta Margareta [sic] Bierman Aab, age 29
Husband of Child #1 Gerlich [sic] Aab, age 33
Grandchild #1 Johann Samuel Aab, age 8
Grandchild #2 Johann Konrad Aab, age 3
Grandchild #3 Georg Heinrich Aab, age 6 months
Grandchild #4 Sofia [sic] Gertrude Aab, age 9

Her name does not appear in the 1834 census, but her husband and her son Samuel does. [3] Her husband, Gerlach, died in 1828, as noted on the census, and it's possible that she, too, had passed away. Had she survived, she would have been 65 in 1834.
