Notes

Note N3830Theodore9, b. March 16, 1786, was fitted for Harvard College at Exeter Academy, under Dr. Abbott, from 1796 to 1800, but did not enter as candidate, as the condition of his father's health neccesitated his return to Portsmouth. He became a large ship-owner, and in 1831 removed to Boston, where he died March 18, 1859. He married April 26, 1831, Clarissa Andrews, daughter of Tyler Bigelow, Esq., of Watertown.
