Biography
Josiah Bigelow, son of Joseph and Sarah (Spencer) Bigelow, was born 3 January 1725/6[1] and baptized 6 February at Second Congregational Church in Hartford, Connecticut.[2]
Josiah married Elizabeth Wells on 12 February[3] 1753 at Wethersfield First Congregational Church.[4]
Josiah died 16 May 1754,[5] and his remains were interred at the Center Church (Ancient) Burial Ground, Hartford.[6]
He left a will dated 22 February 1754, leaving legacies to his wife and executrix, Elizabeth, and to his unborn son or daughter.[7]
Elizabeth did bear him a daughter, apparently a couple of months before his death:
