Eliza Ann Bigelow was born on 1 Jul 1845 in Brownsburg-Chatham, Argenteuil, Quebec, Canada, daughter of Ebenezer William Bigelow (1801– ) and Ellen Blair (1802–1901).[1]
Eliza (19) married Robert Dowd (22) (born on 8 May 1842 in Chatham Township, Argenteuil, Canada East; son of Richard Dowd and Mary (Donanou) Donoughy) in 1865 in Chatham Township, Argenteuil. Their children were:
- Joseph Richard Dowd (1873–1939)
- Lemuel Herbert Dowd (1877–1942)
Eliza died in 1879, aged 33.
