Biography
Thankful Bigelow was born on April 7, 1777 in Colchester, New London, Connecticut. She was a daughter of Elisha Bigelow and Thankful (Beebe) Bigelow.[1]
She married Obed Edson about 1794. Together, they were the parents of:[2]
- Obed- b. 11 Sep 1796
- John Milton- 30 Jul 1801
- Fanny Aurora- ?
After he passed away, she married Samuel Sinclair in 1805. Together, they had seven children.[2]
- Nancy- b. 24 Jan 1806
- David- b. 10 Mar 1807
- Joseph- b. 15 Mar 1809
- George- b. 4 Jul 1811
- Orlinda- b. 10 May 1813
- Virtue Elvira- b. 3 Feb 1816
- Hiram- b. 29 Aug 1817
She died on January 12, 1852 in Sinclairville, Chautauqua, New York, United States.[3]
