Sarah Bigelow is the daughter of Asahel Bigelow and Dorothy Otis. She is a descendant of Mayflower Passengers John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley through her mother.

DAR record for granddaughter Anna Hopkins Fluekiger (381748) shows name "Sarah (Bigelow) Ransom (died 1831)" as wife of Ichabod Hopkins.[Lineage Book of the Charter Members of the DAR Vol 082]

In her will, Sarah makes bequests of $50 to her daughter Mary Kellogg (wife of Norman Kellogg and of $5 to her daughter Lois Hollenbeck (wife of Andrew Hollenbeck). She bequeaths the remainder of her estate to her daughter Lydia Sprague (widow of Barnabas Sprague); her son Elias Ransom; her daughter Sarah Ann Whiting (wife of William Whiting); her son Amasa Ransom; her son Timothy Hopkins; her son Orlando Hopkins; her son Otis R. Hopkins; her son Cyrus Hopkins; her son James Hopkins; and her son Harry Hopkins.

Any source for Sarah Bigelow, wife of Elias Ransom, marrying I. Hopkins in 1774? Elias didn't die until 1799, so this seems unlikely. (I am working on verifying Elias' death date)
