Origin
John was born after 1503 in England. Apparently eldest son; under 30 in 1532, hence born after 1503.[1]
Birth date "after 1529" is a guess, based on the fact that John was named in will of his mother, Joan Bigge, in 1550 at which time he was under 22.[1]The Birth Date is a rough estimate. See the text for details.
So, he could not have been the same John named as eldest son of Richard in 1532.[1] John was born at County Kent, England, a son of Richard Bigg and Joan UNKNOWN.
Family
John had a son Walter who was an adult in 1568 as he was named executor to the will of his uncle Gervase Bigge.[1] He may have been the John Bigge who m. Rose Courthope 21 May 1565 at Cranbrook, but if so it would certainly have been a 2nd m.[1]
