Biography

Charles W. Bigger (aka Biggar) was born about August 9, 1875 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. His parents were Major Robert H. Bigger and Martha Elizabeth "Bessie" Davies.

He married Frances Metlock in 1918. They had one daughter.

He died on January 7, 1931 in Aiken, South Carolina. He is buried with the rest of his family in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, Georgia.


Research Notes

Although his death certificate gives his birth date as January 7, 1873, just about every other source puts it closer to August 1875. - Freeth-52 20:46, 21 September 2016 (EDT)

In 1910, he and several of his sisters are living in the household of William and Mary Andrews in Aiken, South Carolina. They are all listed under the name "Andrews". - Freeth-52 19:26, 22 September 2016 (EDT)
