Biography

Arthur Noland Foye (known as Noel) was born on 27 November 1889[1] at Wanganui, Wellington, New Zealand. He was the son of Arthur Gorbell Bignell and Florence Catherine Simpson.

He married Patricia Mary Bayly on 5 October 1915[2] at St Mary's Church, New Plymouth[3]. The wedding was reported on in the Wanganui Chronicle newspaper[4]. They had at least six children.

Noel died on 22 September 1982[16] at Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty. He was buried at Pyes Pa Memorial Park, Tauranga[17].
