Biography

Louise was the 5th of 9 children born to Felix and Lena (Kauper) Bilger. She married the love of her life (Lewis Bamberg) on July 14, 1922 and they had 2 children together. Louise was born in Illinois, but her family had moved to Kingfisher County by the time she was 10 and she remained there the rest of her life. When she wasn't busy raising her children and being a farmers wife, Louise enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was known to keep a trunk full of crocheted items that she would give away to family members and friends when they would come to visit.
