From a New York Newspaper, March 1929:

Rev. D. M-Billings 'The Reverend Daniel M. Billings, retired Methodist minister, died this morning at eight-forty-five o'clock at his home in Pleasant Valley, following a long illness. He was born in Clarke,Canada, April 28, 1841, and had lived in Pleasant Valley for the last nineteen years. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Isabel Hudson Billings, one son, Llewellyn Billings, two daughters. Mrs. Nellie Hogg, Toronto, Canada, Mrs. Ida Griffin, Koche.s- ter, N. Y.. one brother. Samuel Billings, Canada, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
