I'll be back in 10...
(but I'm not promising minutes)
Sorry, but it might be a while until I can get back to you.

Will have very spotty (if any) internet until about September (or later). Please add "urgent" or similar to anything time sensitive. Thanks!

Some people have never read the entire speech, given in regards to the Great Depression. A few lines: From Franklin Delano Roosevelt:

This great Nation will endure as it has endured, will revive and will prosper. So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself—nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.[1]

My background is medicine, but I am an artist at heart. Genealogy is just plain fun, and I find it fascinating. It's like a treasure hunt, mystery solving, and living history all at once, I don't know whether I would pursue it without WikiTree though. Rabidly anti-commercialism and anti-media/propaganda, I love the idea that this is our tree and we own it. I love the spirit of generosity and comradery here. After all, it is our tree, not my tree. That's the truth. Oh yes, and also important is the principle of accuracy and documentation. That's the scientist in me, evidence based and all that jazz. So ... Hello everyone. I am so happy to be part of this WikiTree. Thank you!

Some of the names I've found in my limbs and twigs:

Correct, I believe; Elizabeth Withers Dudley would appear to be a daughter of Erasmus Withers, d. abt 1680, and his Wife Frances Jones.

Hi Cynthia,

I noted your comment on Jonathan Bosworth-10.

I see you're away now, but if you're available later, your attention to his biography would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cynthia, re William Mead's wife Philip... Which of Torrey's sources have you looked at already. I can look some up but don't want to duplicate efforts.

Thanks, Sharon

Hi Cynthia, re: John Miller, no problem. I've been considering adding a separate profile for John of Dorchester to be able to point to him as a separate person. If you're interested in doing so, please go ahead, and we could add a link to Rev. John's profile, and vice versa. Thoughts?

Hi, Cynthia, wanted to let you know I am new to WikiTree and just discovered the Southern Colonies Project, and found your page in this area on VA, so I added two sources (Creation of VA Counties and VA Atlas) and when I research I'll add more when appropriate. Great Southern Colonies VA Page with very good sources! THANKS for all your work here!

Hi Cynthia, you posted a question about Lydia Combs on the profile for her husband, John Miller. I answered there, and believe that Lydia's surname should be unknown.

Hi Cynthia, you posted a while back on Brundage-59's page and I wonder if you would take a look at the issue of his possible daughter Hannah/Johanna? The dates don't line up with the Johanna Brundage who married David Husted. You're a wizard with CT genealogy so would appreciate your input when you're not too busy.
