John was born after about 1720 at Gloucester County, Virginia, a son of Joseph Billups and Margaret Lilly.[1]

Marriage

John married on 31 March 1757 at Kingston Parish, to to Mary "Lilley" and had two children.[2][1]

  2. Joseph Billups, Jr, b Sept. 29, 1760, died April 5, 1815; married on Feb 14, 1784 to Joice Respess (11/1/1766 - 3/14/1847), d/o Richard Respess and Lucy (Gayle) Respess and had children.

John died after 1783 at Gloucester (or after 1790-1791 Mathews County), Virginia.[1]
