Dicey was named after her aunt, Dicey Hayzlett. Disa Margaret Billups was born in 1833, in Virginia. She married Robert Armstrong in Missouri on 3 Aug 1857. They had three children - William Andrew (b. 1864 - d. 1873), John Wesley (b. 1870 - d. 1873) and Annie Mae (Billups) Armstrong. Disa Margaret and Robert are both buried in Memphis, Scotland, Missouri.
