Biography

Samantha Ellen Carter was born on October 9, 1851 in Green, Adams, Ohio to Alexander Carter and Martha McCloud.

She married John Bilyue on February 4, 1867 in Adams County, Ohio. They had four children:

  1. Corintha S Bilyue
  2. Albert A Bilyue
  3. Marcus Marion Bilyue
  4. Horatio Alexander Bilyue

Samantha married three times after the death of her first husband:
1. Pasqual Frankville
2. Marcus Ashton
3. Thomas Scott

Samantha passed away on October 16, 1918 in Blair, Washington, Nebraska at the age of sixty-seven. She is buried at Blair Cemetery[1].
