Samantha Ellen Carter was born on October 9, 1851 in Green, Adams, Ohio to Alexander Carter and Martha McCloud.
She married John Bilyue on February 4, 1867 in Adams County, Ohio. They had four children:

Samantha passed away on October 16, 1918 in Blair, Washington, Nebraska at the age of sixty-seven. She is buried at Blair Cemetery[1].
