Excerpt of Will:

"I desire that my beloved wife Sarah may be provided for exactly in the same manner as she would have been if this Will had not been made except that in addition to to that to which she would be entitled by law that I also herein give to her all of the household goods and furniture of every description of which I may die possessed.

I give and bequeath to my son John the sum of five hkundred dollars and release him from all devices which I have against him.

I give and bequeath to my grandson George W. Binegar, the son of George Binegar the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars.

I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Sarah Amanda Murdock the sum of one hundred and sixty dollars

I give and bequeath to Samuel and John, Walter, Ellen and Emily, chldren of my son James Binegar, now deceased, the sum of eighty six dollars to each of them.

I desire that after the payment of the specific bequests herein made that the balance of my estate, real and personal, be equally divided between my children not herein before named, to wit: George Binegar, Andrew J. Binegar, Samuel Binegar, Mary Simmons, Sarah Ann Cox, and Elizabeth C. Knedler

I do hereby nominate and appoint Creighton A. Knedler executor of this my Last Will and Testament hereby authorizing and empowering him to compromise, adjust and discharge in such a manner as he may deem proper, the debts and claims due me."
