Leonard Paul Bingham was born on September 22, 1900 in Franklin in the Arizona Territory to Warner Bingham and Sarah Ann Smith. His brother was Warner E. Bingham.
On November 22, 1918, he married Maryette Louder in Idaho. They had five children: Paul, Ora Mae, Evelyn, Fern and Keith.
Leonard passed away on January 7, 1938 in Blackfoot, Idaho. He is buried in Declo Cemetery in Declo, Idaho.
