Biography

Daniel was born in 1878. He was the son of Albert Bingham and Martha Flick. He passed away in 1953.

Mahoning Dispatch, Fri, 13 Feb 1953 "Funeral services for Daniel F. Bingham, 74, of Ohltown, who died of a heart ailment at 8 am Tuesday in Trumbull Memorial hospital at Warren, after a six-day illness, will be at 2 pm Friday in the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge. Mr. Bingham was born Nov. 14, 1878, in Bedford, Pa., a son of Albert and Ella Flick Bingham. An Ohltown resident for 35 years he was employed at McDonald plant of the U. S. Steel Corporation until his retirement in 1945. Mr. Bingham also had operated a fruit farm since 1922. He attended Ohltown Methodist Church. Mr. Bingham leaves his wife, the former Nellie Roth; three sons, Albert and Roth both of Austintown, and John of Youngstown; three daughters, Miss Bernice Bingham at home, Mrs. Mary Ella Hoover of Austintown and Mrs. Ethel Crooks of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Howard of Sharon, and ten grandchildren."
