Biography
Lydia was the daughter of George Mark Binkley and Margaret Jane Rymal.
Lydia Nuala Binkley was born on August 1, 1879, the daughter of George M. Binkley, farmer, and Margaret Janette Rymal, of Lot 19, Concession 6, Barton Township, Wentworth County, Ontario.
She was married to Peter Stewart in 1908. Their marriage record reads:
- Peter Scott Stewart, 26, residing in Regina, Saskatchewan, born in Mitchell, Ontario, bachelor, law student, son of Alexander Stewart and Christina McNaughton, married
- Lydia Nuala Binkley, 26, born in Barton, spinster, daughter of Geo. Binkley and Janet Rymal,
- Witnesses: E.B. Binkley, Barton; C.W. Hurlburt, Regina, Saskatchewan,
- On June 17, 1908, in Barton Township, Wentworth County, Ontario.
According to her headstone, Lydia died on March 10, 1920, possibly in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Lydia was buried at Regina Cemetery, in Regina, Saskatchewan.
