Biography
Mathies Binnig was born on October 3, 1762, in Mittelschefflenz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the son of Cristina and Matthes. He married Margaretha Spiegel in 1794 in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. They had eight children in 12 years. He died in 1828 in his hometown at the age of 66.
