Personal correspondence with Barbara Jo Binns on 2 Dec 2005: Her uncle's name was Van Carl Binns No children
In a letter to me from Barbara Jo Binns, "Grandma Barb", 6 July 2006: Uncle Van was the only Binns that stayed in Monticello. His home and office was on Trotter Ave. He was a doctor. He had Granddad's house torn down and re-built. Granddad lived there until he couldn't take care of himself any longer. Van had him with him until he died.
One of his patients was Maude Binns, his cousin from Burwell Binns III and Anna Caperton. She and her granddaughter Pat used to walk to his office for her appointments. - Pat Sheldon, email, 1 June 2006.
