Research Notes
Connecting the marriage to the correct Hannah - The name Hannah Binns is common locally and there are several others with a father John, but most can be eliminated for this marriage from other information. This John Binns is a woolcomber in all records found so far, and there is one other Hannah about the right age with father a woolcomber , shown on the 1841 census at Low Green, Horton.[5] No further records found for that Hannah yet, but all other early records for her family are in Horton, Bradford, whereas this Hannah after marriage shows birthplace Wilsden, Cullingworth, and Bingley, matching with her sister Jane who also shows Wilsden and Bingley. Place of birth - 1851 census says Wilsden, 1861 census Cullingworth, 1871 census Bingley, 1891 census Leeds.
