Biography

Note on Child's Mother: Since this child's father William Binns was married to Dina Nottingham, many people have assumed that she was the mother of all William Binns' children. However, the marriage was in 1747 with the baptisms starting 11 years later in 1758. So there could be a missing burial for Dina and another marriage. None of the baptisms give a mother's name. In addition, the last baptism is in 1777 and if Dina was a similar age to William then she would have been 50 years old by 1777. Not impossible but seems unlikely. Without more evidence the mother(s) of these children cannot be named.
