Biography

Arthur was born 20 July, in 1896, in Leeds, Yorkshire, UK. At time of enlistment, Arthur Binns was living in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, and was a farmer. He lists his next-of-kin as Mrs. H. Binns, his mother. Arthur Binns was a Private in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, the 195th Battalion Reg # 907198. He earned one Good Conduct Stripe, and was assigned to permanent base duty before being discharged on compassionate (medical ) grounds. [2] .
