Biography
Charles was born in 1899, in Liverpool, England, on the fourth of November. He enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force And was assigned to the Lord Strathcona Horse, reg # 2293771. He had been living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with his father, Mr. H. Binns. Despite willingness to serve, Charles Binns was discharged as "Medically Unfit" due to his age. He was 16 [2].
